Yesterday I felt very sick and my body was aching all over. Thought that I will be on sick leave for today. Luckily for me. I forced myself to go for performance cycling for over 20km. With all the sweat gushing out from my weakened body, my energy level has returned to my normal state. I can't imagine what would happened to me if I went home and take a nap. The outcome might not look so promising though...

K-Cars

I'm not sure why myself, but I'm very attracted to Japanese Kei-Cars. One of my favourite K-Cars is this: the Suzuki Palette SW. To some, it looks very weird with the wide smiley face and enlarged-stretched headlamps. To me it's such a cool and compact little ninja. Love the side-sliding doors too.

Moreover, it is also a compact multi-purpose car with flat-folding function so you can insert a whole darn lion. But it's sad to say that Suzuki Malaysia is not bringing them in.

Yesterday I went to train my cycling with the help of a time trialling video. And man, it was certainly hard to keep my pace with the pros. I was having a hard time maintaining the speed. And eventually gave up and continued on with my own pace. I thought that at least I can hold on for a little longer. Pros are pros. Guess I need to train more on my threshold and endurance.

This morning I read a local newspaper. To my astonishment, there are so many indecent, forceful and bad cases happened. Why the world we live in has so much of sorrow? Why can't we live in a harmony world where everything runs smoothly and carefree? But in reality, the world we live in is like devil running on a rampage on human world. Everything we see now is covered by a big cloth of bloodied pool. Is human were to be blamed for all these sins?

Also, most of these cases always happens to the poor. And they will suffer until they couldn't handle anymore and hence more sinful things will happen.

Paris-Roubaix 2010 is Cancellara

Had another busy weekend. Was tired after having my late dinner. I turned on the TV and browsed though the channels. Then suddenly spotted Paris-Roubaix live at Eurosport. I watched 3/4 of the whole race till the end. Fabian Cancellara taking another title win at Paris-Roubaix 2010. The Spartacus make a spectacular break-away with 50km to go leaving the rest of the peloton in the dust. The time gap was more than 2 minutes. It's his second win in a row after conquering Tour of Flanders last weekend. Bravo to Fabian!

Had a wonderful lunch at a restaurant nearby my office. Ordered spaghetti aglio olio. It's one of my favourite pasta dish. It tastes so nice. The aromatic herbs mixed together with fresh chopped garlic and dry chili bring out the distinctive flavour of Italian.

Of course, to complete my Italiano meal I ordered a glass of lemon twist that fills up my lunch stomach. But this place is not an everyday lunch or else I will have to spend only eating bread for the rest of the month.

Don't you find it weird when a person offers their assistance to you and condemn you if the result did not work out. I mean this is really disturbing. The victim supposedly is the one that got helped and yet the one that lending their hand blame you for the mistakes. Wow! this is really crazy. So it is better not getting help at all, don't you think so? I rather have a slower and yet effective result instead.

Just had lunch over at Tropicana City Mall. What can I say? First of all, it's a small restaurant that offers porridge/congee and a small portion of noodle choice. Yes, the variety is there. But that's it. Nothing more for me to talk about. The food quality is really below sea level. Either it's too salty, too plain or just plain lousy. So far, this restaurant is the worst amongst those I had tried in the complex.

And most of all, since I do not want to waste my hard earn cash, I am forced to swallow the bowl of tasteless noodle down my throat. Please people, avoid this shop at all cause. Unless you want to taste the sour grape for once.

Sometimes when we are discussing on some issue, there might be a debate on whose information is correct. There are at times when it gets out of hand, he or she may feel threaten for being wrong and hence kept insisting their view is correct. No matter who is right or wrong, all we need to do is get the best fact/info so that we are on the right track. But being an ego person, it will make others think that you are a sore loser. I don't see any point for being so persistent and hence making others feel obnoxious.

I need to bring my Powerbook G4 back to life. It's been in the drawer for a long time and it is the time to see the light. The battery couldn't be charge even though it still draws power from the socket. The OS is dying. Too heavy to move its body. Not sure how much will it cost to spring it back to life. Another busy weekend

It was a busy weekend for me. Taking care of the children, the housework, iron clothing and etc. Basically, it's hard to get your own sweet time together with either yourself or with my wife or children. The only time I had personal time with my wife was while waiting for my son's music lesson to be over. It's like about 35 minutes. Although the time is not gracious, at least we get to catch our time together.

We had our lunch as usual, this time chicken rice at a nearby stall. Yummy, but we do get thirsty afterward from the msgs (monosodium glutamate). Also, I was sweating like a dog because the weather was extremely baking like oven. After picking my son up from the class, business as usual. Everyone was so busy doing their own work as if it will not end. In the end, all things comes to settle down towards midnight.

At least, I got a glimpsed of Fabian Cancellara taking the win in Tour of Flanders. And to me this is one nice dessert before I get myself into dreamland.

Watch it on Friday night with my wife and son. Suprisingly my son loves the movie. It's kinda hard to tell what kind of movies he likes. Sometimes he likes those things that you would never thought of. And now my wife love the character of Night Fury, the main dragon in the movie. Now waiting the chance to watch Clash of The Titans. But that will be another part of the story.

I'm sure most of us have idolize some fictional characters in the comics world or even animations. Well, so far I have group 3 of my most favourite characters of all time. I plan to insert about 10, but can't think of any that I really like. Okay, here are the list. Starting from no.3 (drumming)...

At no.3: Batgirl (Cassandra Cain)

What can I say. She is one bad-ass Batgirl. Although she does not talk much (she had training on body reading) but her outfit is cool. Just like a Batgirl should looks like. I'm sure the thugs will be very scared if she appears to stop them. Besides, she is expert in martial arts too.

Continue at no.2: Gambit (X-Men)

Gambit, he is such a cool character. Although not that powerful, he has cool mutant ability to tap into the potential energy contained within an object and transform it into kinetic energy upon touching it. When Gambit thus charges an object and throws it at a target, the object releases this energy explosively on impact.

And no.1 goes to: Batman

He is my character ever since I was 6 years old. I still remembered when I was watching Justice League of America in the early 80s. He looks damn cool even though he does not have any superhuman powers. He is one sickly the best human being living on earth in terms of physical and mental strength. He can beat up enemy even if they have super powers. He is the man with most thinking on how to defeat an enemy. Batman is the man!

I've booked 3 tickets on How To Train a Dragon. Watching it with my wife and son. He is 4 years old now. Hope he is interested in this movie since it's a 3D animation. This is the third time I bring him to cinema.

The first movie we went was Storm Rider 2. He seemed to be caught with the movie whole. Maybe it's his first time to a movie theatre and the scenario was dark with big TV in front of him.

The second movie we watch was Avatar. That time was a bit hard for him to concentrate. He kept asking me to take him to the washroom. Sometimes he did pee, sometimes he just wants to take some fresh air. I missed most of the important part of the movie. Nonetheless, I'm alright with it.

By the way, initially I was planning to watch Clash of The Titans. All the tickets are fully reserved. Shoot!

My Crumpler

As per my previous post, I am currently using Crumpler (Horseman) for my work. It's a very convenient messenger bag that can fit in almost anything I want. It has a compartment for my laptop too. I have a Powerbook and HP Pavillion DV2000. Both fits well nicely although the Powerbook has the better fit. To me it seems like the sleeves are taylor made for the Mac products.

Yup. It's a messenger bag. I just love messenger bags for no reason. Be it Crumpler, Fossil or anything as long as the design is stylish and with some rugged touches.

Well, this time I'm taking about a messenger bag from Booq. It is designed to be extremely tough, with an abundance of functionality, such as a removable protective laptop sleeve, adjustable seatbelt nylon shoulder strap with removable shoulder pad and stabilizing strap, large front pocket with built in organizer, exterior handle and trolley pass-through on the back, and much more. It's already in my wishlist. But kind of hard to get it here in Malaysia.

Finally I got my bike. It's a Merida Flx-906. Although is not my dream bike, but at least I got one though. I have it as a TT setup since I like doing time trial. Do anyone of you experience the driver behind flashes it's light attacking your eyes? No, I don't mean it will makes your eyes uncomfortable. It's just that these drivers think that they are so fast and wants everyone driver to get out of the way so that he can passes through like a VIP. Well, to those driver....you are DEAD WRONG!

Unless you're driving some TC or SC cars, don't even think of telling people to let go of their driving lane. You'll never know what cars you are dealing with in front of you. What if the car is a police car? Or even a souped up car? Or there might be even a slower car further in front? Think about it. Once you come out to an open highway, you might not even see where the hell is the car in front and you might just ended up getting smoked embarrassingly!

So to these kind of drivers, STOP FLASHING ALREADY! YOU'VE JUST BEEN SMOKED!

All this while we will always wonder what we have achieved. Generally we did achieved many things in our life. But those might not be the achievement we are targetting. The economy is getting worse by the day. Nobody is spending to strengthen the world's economy. All of us are afraid of investment that might brings you down to hell. Oh come one! We must try to risk it if we want to be successful. Your current job might not last you very long. Then heck, just look for another!

There are many things we wanted to do, but there are too many restrictions. Or we can derived it of giving many excuses for not being able to see the light. If you have what it takes or brave enough, then search for your life. There aren't any point to be idling all this while figuring what can be done. It's time to execute it now. Do the proper planning first. Calculate what risk you may face and how to resolve/run around it. People, it's time and the time is NOW!

I've got to work overtime tonight as ridiculous deadline keeps coming. So I got to eat dinner at nearby restaurant. And the mamak happens to be the one. Already scared of roti canai, I ordered nasi briyani and a piece of fried chicken. To my astonishment, the whole plate cost me RM7.50. The nasi briyani itself cost RM4! My god! It's so darn expensive. I swear to myself not to take nasi briyani anymore. Mamak have no mercy to their customers!

Just found one of my favourite bikes on the planet. The Look 596. I'm very into bicycles since I was a teenager, but couldn't really afford one. I got tons of bicycle magazines with lots of bikes to adore.

Only last year (got disconnected with this hobby for quite some time) I found out where to look for those nice and cool looking bikes in around KL or PJ area. To my astonishment, I still couldn't afford one. They are just beyond my budget. The accessories is freaking costly but in great quality though. I thought playing with car accessories was expensive.

Anyway, I hope I could get one in the future. Got to strike lottery first! :)

Found this item on the internet previously and want to share with you. Cool looking ring doesn't it? It's called the G10 Handcandy rings and it's made of G10. G10 is a material that is becoming very popular in similar applications to carbon fiber. It is being used in gun handle grips, technology and defense systems due to its durable and lightweight features.

I like the design and material used very much rather than those normal looking platinum or stainless steel. And the color combination markings are cool altogether. Kinda pricey though and can only be order in the Unites States.

Recently bumped into a website that sells mostly fashionable items, YesStyle.com. This is a site which sells a lot of fashionable products from clothing, shoes, accessories, bags and etc. There is so much to choose from and it makes me want it all. The price is in USD but there is a conversion shown at the same time according to your country of residence. Kind of convenient if you ask me and you don't need to waste effort to press on your calculator.

I have many shopping list and have yet to buy online because I'm still in doubt on paying online though. But nonetheless, this site is a very good for fashion minded people.

Went to Room 18 (Chinese Cuisine) for lunch with my colleagues. We ordered some dishes as usual. We were surprised when the food is served. The portion is just like the brain of a Brontosaurus. The taste? Not that great either. How should I say. The amount we paid for does not justified the taste and portion.

The weather is getting worse by the minute. It was so hot that I sweat by the second I went out the house to get something from my car. According to the weather forecast, the dryspell will continues till September. Hope that it will rain heavily for once. I never like the rain that pours only for like 20 seconds than stops. Such rain not only couldn't frozen up the heat but also makes my car so freaking dirty when the dust settled after the rain. It's a sore eye seeing my shiny car looking like a sand beast.

The Mourn of Andrew "Test" Martin

Today, I got quite a shock after knowing that Andrew Martin or better known as Test in WWE was found dead in his Tampa, Florida condo on March 13, 2009. The neighbour of his was suspicious about Andrew finding him not moving a single muscle on his couch for a day which led her to call for the police. (Her neighbour has a good viewing angle on this house.)

An autopsy has been made but there is still not update on it at the moment. But according to other sources, his death could be caused by overuse of painkillers and steroids. Nowadays, more and more wrestlers die at a younger age, probably due to overuse of painkillers too and other causes that damage their health. Let's hope that the death toll will stop or at least pause for another decade or two. Rest In Peace for Andrew Martin. He is one of my favourite wrestler especially when he got his push after leaving T&A.

Naruto

Got myself a Naruto DVD chapter 1-100. To some I might be a bit late watching this anime. I have known this anime long time ago, but did not pursue to watch it due to getting not much review from friends. Not until I got some glimpse from Cartoon Network. I manage to watch 1 episode and it drags my interest instantly!

The anime was cool and humorous at the same time. So far I've watched till chapter 18 I think. The dubbing is in Cantonese (which I like). I don't mind in English too...but better in Cantonese. Until now, I still couldn't catch their names. I only remember Naruto and Satsuke if the spelling is correct. I can remember more in their Chinese name though since the dubbing is in Cantonese.

Naruto even got my wife hooked into it. How interesting!

Wish List 2

Here comes the 2nd chapter of my wish list. And it's everyone's favorite Apple iMac. This fella here has some nice setup. It's fast enough for my everyday's work. I work as an Art Director in an ad agency. So most of my work is mostly on prints and web. I'm using one now in my office. Very nice to use, no virus problem, no "blue screen", no "Control, Alternate, Delete" and etc. And most of all, a wonderful operating system; the MacOSX.

I have one Powerbook G4, but the speed is just not up to my standard. I know the time has passed and so has the technology. So I got a HP laptop. The speed is definitely faster than my G4 but the screen is slightly smaller, 1 inch smaller.

So to get the iMac, I get larger screen for my work. Faster processor and more RAM will definitely benefits me on my work. :) But if can, I might wait up for an update on iMac range. Hopefully the next Macworld we might be seeing some new iMac on the stage. Lastly hope Jobs get recovered quickly to disclose his wonderful product to the Mac fans.

Brawn GP Rocks!

Earlier this year Ross Brawn has his own team of F1 (Brawn GP) in which the team was formally a Honda BAR. He got the same drivers (Jenson Button and Rubens Barichello). Initially I was reluctant if this team can be competitive on the track. To my suprise, they did not just outruned the top teams but also gotten first place in 3 different occassion. It was a shocked to the other teams also, especially McLaren and Ferrari. Hope Brawn GP can continue its dominance in the next race and future.

Finally I got to watch X-Men Origins: Wolverine! The movie was great in terms of how Logan got his adamantium skeleton. The fight and effect was good to if you want to compare to the previous X-Men movies. The older ones aren't that smooth in my opinion. This one however was a contrary. Would recommend this movie for all. A must watch.

Bedside Table

Yesterday went to IKEA to get a bedside table. I've longed fo the table since last year. But there isn't any color that match my bed frame. Until recently, I got the Bedroom Catalogue from IKEA. They have the same side table and this time it came with the color that match, which is black brown.

So after viewing the real show unit, I went to the product hall to get one. Once I reached the section and get the box, and boy was it heavy. I never thought that this thing weighs a lot. I did not bring any trolley with me. So I'm forced to carry it to the cashier. Luckily there is an IKEA worker get me a trolley.

Here is the funny part. While about to pay my purchase, the cashier said why I'm still standing there as the table has been paid. Then I got question marks all over my head. The reason is the cashier thought I was with the person in front and hence charges my purchase on him. The guy in front of me was surprised too and had to get the refund.

After visiting the doc for the 3rd time, I have to continue medication for another 4 days. According to the doc, my recovery is almost there. Hope this batch of medication is my last. Even if I'm fully recover, I still need to continue to watch my diet to prevent my gastric arises.

After visiting the Chinese doctor for the second time, I thought that I do not have to take those awful medicine again. But I was wrong. I am not fully recovered. Instead he gave me another 4-day medication. Luckily the aroma of the medicine is not that bad compare to the first batch. I am still able to tolerate the aroma. But still I need to get back to see him yet again this Tuesday after work. Hope I am free from it.

总觉得没时间陪我家的小皇帝，很想很想放假来陪陪他。很想带他到别州走走，可是单凭我一个人的力量有限。曾想过和问过自己是否可以照顾他吗？有时和他在一起会令人可拍和厌倦。这是因为他的脾气，时好时坏，很难抓摸。不管如何，光阴似剑和岁月不留人。我们要好好的珍惜每一刻每一秒，让我们一起来陪陪我们的小宝贝吧！

学习是永远学不完的。我会和他一起学习，一起成长。尽量不发脾气，不暴躁。。。。这是做父母应有的基本资格。我曾经也是一位脾性不好和没有耐性的母亲，但往往我责备了他后，我会很内疚很想哭。希望你也是一样不要做自己后悔的事，咱们一起努力吧！！我想我现在有进步了，起码我会慢慢的和他说话和教他，你赞成吗？？

Went to visit a Chinese doc 2 days ago for my gastric(windy) problem. And he gave me few packs of powderish medicine. I can't tell how awful the medicine taste. Wong Lou Kat has no fight, I mean NO FIGHT against the aroma of this. I have to take 3 packs a day for 3 days. Not a pretty site though. But I have to go through it for my health's sake. Just some of you may be wondering how it looks like. Well just imagine a fine well-grain Milo but with none of the taste of it...

Few weeks ago found this messenger bag while surfing the net. It's from Fossil. Cool isn't it. Well, maybe to some of us only. I was about to get it until I saw the price tag at the retail shop. It cost around RM1K. That is a hefty price considering it's Fossil. Maybe it's because the Redmond Messenger Bag(the name of the bag) is made from soft genuine leather with silver-tone hardware.

四年来的改变很多，要学做人妻，母，媳妇。。好辛苦，好累。。曾经想过放弃但不舍得和不甘心。我想为人父得也不好受，要学做人夫，父，女媳，乖儿子。。而且每每会变成婆媳之间的"磨心"而遭殃的哪一位。身负重任的父亲需要承担整个家。。。真的好累哟! 很多人说，以礼仪和不要埋怨来对待彼此是维持一段美满的婚姻和家庭直道永远。我不断的告诉自己要努力的为这个家而付出，学习。一条康庄大道是自己走出来的，但我们永远可以选择我们要走的大道是否顺畅或崎岖。路是自己选的，从不埋怨才有希望和结果。

Holiday Vacation to Japan

Went to Japan for my honeymoon on 2007. I know...I know...it's been like 2 years ago...I get it. But since I have not have anything to update the blog, might as well tell you what I've been doing the missing days on the blog. The trip was very nice.
